A British Royal Marine Commando acts as the brakeman for U.S. Marine Aaron Collazo from Faison, N.C., when practicing their rappelling techniques during the sustainment part of Platinum Lynx, May 3, 2015. The brakeman acts as the safety for the rappeller. Platinum Lynx is a multilateral two-week exercise in the mountains of Romania. Royal Marine Commandos from the United Kingdom, U.S. Marines with Black Sea Rotational Force and the Romanian Mountain Brigade climbed various cliff faces utilizing different techniques that each country specializes in.
