Peter Awn addresses attendees at the commissioning ceremony of Staff Sergeant Patrick Poorbaugh at the Low Memorial Library Rotunda, Columbia University, New York City, May, 21. Poorbaugh became the first Marine in 40 years to commission from the school. Awn is the Columbia University School of General Studies Dean.
