150520-N-AT101-467 PUERTO CABEZAS, Nicaragua (May 20, 2015) - Harry Owens, a family practice doctor and volunteer with the non-governmental organization (NGO) Project Hope, records a patient's medical information at a medical site set up at Colegio Moravo Juan Amos Comenius during Continuing Promise 2015 (CP-15). Project Hope volunteers are working alongside other NGOs and joint-military personnel to complete the CP-15 mission. Continuing Promise is a U.S. Southern Command-sponsored and U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command/U.S. 4th Fleet-conducted deployment to conduct civil-military operations including humanitarian-civil assistance, subject matter expert exchanges, medical, dental, veterinary and engineering support and disaster response to partner nations and to show U.S. support and commitment to Central and South America and the Caribbean.
