Bn., teaches an Iraqi firefighter how to properly operate the RAD-ID radiation monitor during the first Haz Mat training course at the National Fire Academy on Aug. 11. The two week class emphasizes health and safety planning, decontamination and first aid, and techniques for proper response at a hazardous materials site. The course gives government officials the tools to set up a Haz Mat response program.
