U.S. Marine Capt. J.D. Craus, a KC-130 Hercules pilot, shakes the hand of a Royal Thai seaman after loading a pallet of humanitarian aid aboard the aircraft May 21, 2015, at U-Tapao Royal Thai Naval Airfield, Thailand. Thai and U.S. forces worked together in a joint effort to package and load pallets of blankets donated by the Thai government and bound for Nepal to support earthquake relief efforts. When the aid arrives in Nepal it will be downloaded by U.S. Airmen from the 36th Contingency Response Group who will ensure it is sent out to the villages or to the distribution center the same day it arrives in Nepal thereby avoiding any congestion at the airfield.
