Seaman Eric J. Galarza, a beach master with Beach Master Unit 2 and native of Dayton Beach, Fla., guides a Landing Craft, Air-Cushioned ashore at Kuwait Naval Base, Kuwait Aug. 2. The Marines and Sailors of the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit came ashore from multi-purpose amphibious assault ship USS Bataan to conduct sustainment training aboard Camp Buehring, Kuwait. The MEU is currently serving as the theatre reserve force for U.S. Central Command.
