U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Thomas Glynn (right), a mortarman with Black Sea Rotational Force, gets deep into the brush of Constanta City Park, Romania, during a beautification project he initiated, May 8, 2015. Glynn visited the park regularly during his deployment to Mihail Kogalniceanu Air Base, Romania. During one of his visits, he was motivated to action when he noticed the build-up of trash in the park. With the help of the BSRF command chaplain, U.S. Navy Lt. David Jones, he contacted local Constanta community members and created the project step-by-step.
