More than 20 Anzio veterans were in Charleston to celebrate what could be their last reunion event together and to share their stories with the service members stationed here. Furtado is 95-years-old and was a member of the 36th Combat Engineer 6th Company. Oliver is 94-years-old and was a member of an amphibious assault ship Landing Ship Medium 488.
