U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Trevor Crust, a M2 Bradley Fighting Vehicle Commander in the 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, tightens down armor plating that protects the tank’s tracks on May 12, 2015, prior to heading into the Hohenfels Training Area for maneuver exercises as part of Combined Resolve IV. Crust admits that he’s “done sitting around”, and “ready to get at it”. Combined Resolve is a series of bi-annual U.S. Army Europe exercises designed to train participants to function together in a multinational and integrated environment and to train U.S. Army rotational forces in Europe to be more flexible, agile and better able to operate alongside allies and partners in the region.
