Ron Ravelo, commanding officer of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) and Cmdr. Todd D. Tavolazzi, strike operations officer aboard Lincoln, pose during a ceremony commemorating the achievements of Eugene Ely who performed the first successful aircraft landing on the USS Pennsylvania in 1911.
