SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Sailors assigned to amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6) pose with their winning haul of collected trash while participating in the Main Street Clean Up, May 9th. The team won the “Most Interesting Find” award during bi-annual event, which was held to rid the area surrounding Naval Base San Diego of nearly 2,000 pounds of trash and foster relationships with the community.
