Marines with Sierra Battery, Battalion Landing Team, 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, prepare to fire an M777 Howitzer June 30 during a theater security cooperation exercise with a regional military. The exercise is designed to enhance interoperability and tactical proficiency between forces. The 22nd MEU is currently serving as the theater reserve force for U.S. Central Command.
