Mobilizing soldiers with the 96th Sustainment Brigade say farewell to their command team, Col. Kristan L. Hericks, brigade commander, and Command Sgt. Maj. Christopher Beyer, brigade command sergeant major, as they board a plane at the Salt Lake City International Airport headed for Fort Hood, Texas, May 4. The deploying troops will train at Fort Hood for several weeks to prepare for a yearlong tour of multiple countries in the Middle East in support of Operation Inherent Resolve.
