Students participating in a Career Day event participate in a walkthrough of the inside of an MK-28 extended cargo truck at Southwest Elementary School in Jacksonville, N.C., April 30. The 2nd Transportation Support Battalion Marines brought an MK-36 wrecker, an MKR-18 Logistics Vehicle System Replacement vehicle and an MK-28 extended cargo truck to show students how some of the vehicles operate in the Marine Corps. Jonathon Tucker, a 2nd transportation support battalion motor transportation Marine, said it’s important to show the kids the opportunities that they have to choose from in the future and how important education is towards a military career.
