Students participating in a Career Day event spin a tire attached to an MK-28 extended cargo truck at Southwest Elementary School in Jacksonville, N.C., April 30. Ron Lashley, a 2nd grade teacher at Southwest Elementary School and former Air Force Staff.Sergeant, helped orchestrate the event. Lashley said the intention of Career Day is to spur students to think about the various career pathways, including the military.
