150502-N-VC236-020 ARABIAN GULF (May 2, 2015) - Sailors assigned to the guided-missile destroyer USS Farragut (DDG 99) and the Grandmasters of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 46 receive parts and supplies in the starboard side hangar bay. Farragut is deployed as part of Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations supporting Operation Inherent Resolve, strike operations in Iraq and Syria as directed, maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the region.
