Soldiers gather on April 30 after a prayer given by Col. Gerald Mapp, 10th Military Police Battalion, following the “Take Back the Night” walk at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. The walk signified the end of Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Col. Mapp gave a speech prior to the “chem-light” vigil. He told those in attendance, “Sexual assault knows no boundaries. Each member of our military has a unique role in preventing and responding to sexual assault. Each of you can be an example by your words and actions. We have come a long way, but we still have some work to do.” (Photo by Staff Sgt. Amber Simpkins, 1108th TASMG Unit Public Affairs Representative)
