James Parks (inside vehicle), heavy equipment operator, 277th Engineer Company, 46th Engineer Combat Battalion (Heavy), 225th Engineer Brigade, widens a roadway at Joint Security Station Copper southeast of Baghdad in the Mahmoudya Qada to accommodate the heavy military vehicle traffic, July 24. The roads were upgraded both by widening them and adding more aggregate to the surface to create safer driving conditions.
