The 2nd Cavalry Regiment celebrated the 70th anniversary of Operation Cowboy, the rescue of the famed Lipizzaner horses from the German army, April 30, 2015. The celebration took part in the towns of Hostoun and Bala nad Radbuzou, Czech Republic. The shared history of the event has formed a strong tie between the 2nd Cavalry Regiment and the two Czech communities.
