Philippine and U.S. Marines control a MKR-15 Wrecker to move a 20-ton container April 23 at Crow Valley, Philippines, during Exercise Balikatan 2015. Philippine Marines gave an opportunity to their U.S. counterparts to learn the capabilities of the AMK-36 and the MKR-15 wrecker logistical vehicles. The vehicles are a logistical asset that enhance the Marine Corps’ expeditionary nature. The Philippine Marines learned how the U.S. Marines use their vehicles during recovery missions and port operations. Balikatan is an annual exercise that enhances military-to-military relationships with the Armed Forces of the Philippines. The U.S. Marines are assigned to Combat Logistics Battalion 4, Combat Logistics Regiment 3, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
