Service members from the Armed Forces of the Philippines, Australian Defence Force and U.S. military commemorate Australian and New Zealand Army Corps Day at Santa Lourdes High School in Palawan, Philippines, April 25 during exercise Balikatan 2015. ANZAC Day marks the anniversary of the first major military action by Australian and New Zealand armed forces during World War I. The day serves as a day of remembrance for those Australians and New Zealanders who have fought and died in military conflicts throughout the years. The service members are all currently working together to build a two-room classroom at Santa Lourdes High School as a humanitarian civic assistance project during Balikatan.
