Sergeant Maj. Joseph D. Shaw, the outgoing sergeant major of II Marine Headquarters Group, passes a non-commissioned officer sword to Col. Thomas J. Gordon, the commanding officer of II MHG, during a relief and appointment ceremony aboard Camp Lejeune, April 23, 2015. Gordon passed the sword to Sgt. Maj.
