A Marine with C. Co., 1st Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, presents his rifle to an uncleared hallway during a counter improvised explosive device training exercise aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., April 22, 2015. The Marines kept positive control of their weapons while clearing rooms in case they encountered an enemy who could be lurking behind any corner of the building.
