More than 1,000 U.S. citizens of the Upstate South Carolina area welcome home World War II and Korean War veterans after their Honor Flight to Washington April 21, 2015. Upstate Honor Flight hosted the event, which flew 91 veterans from World War II and Korea to see the national memorials that were built in their honor. More than 1,000 citizens form the Upstate South Carolina area gathered in main terminal of the Greenville/Spartanburg International Airport to give them all hero’s welcome home.
