150413-N-IY633-026 ATLANTIC OCEAN (April 13, 2015) – Commander, Standing NATO Maritime Group 2 (SNMG2), Rear Adm. Brad Williamson, answers questions from NATO TV reporters aboard SNMG2 flagship USS Vicksburg (CG 69) during Joint Warrior, Europe’s largest multinational multi-warfare exercise. Three of NATO’s Standing Naval Forces, Standing NATO Maritime Group 2, and Standing NATO Maritime Mine Counter Measures Groups 1 and 2 are participating in Joint Warrior with 55 warships and submarines, and 70 air assets from Allied countries. In total, the exercise involves approximately 14,000 personnel; training and operating together to develop specific war fighting skills through diverse training and credible scenario development.
