Master Sgt. Vincent C.Savage nears the finish line during the Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point and 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing Sexual Assault Awareness Month Commemorative 5K along Rifle Range Road, April 17, 2015.
The event drew nearly 1,000 Marines, Sailors and Department of Defense employees who ran the 3.1 mile course to show solidarity with sexual assault survivors and a shared commitment to eradicating sexual violence across the Marine Corps. Savage is the logistics chief for Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron.
