Chief Petty Officer Robert Palomares and Capt. Jill Votaw salute the colors during a retirement ceremony aboard the USS Midway Museum. Palomares retired from the Navy after 25 years. He received the Purple Heart for wounds suffered during a rocket attack during a river clearance operation in Vietnam.
