Hundreds of Army Reserve and Army National Guard Soldiers return to their Reserve Center to connect with local and regional civilian employers during a job fair April 1. More than 70 employers and educational institutions vied for current Soldiers’ and veterans' applications during the day-long event. Reliability and discipline are common characteristics that make veterans attractive employees, according to most employers. Organizers of the event said the Armed Forces Reserve Center in Marysville, Wash., is a central and familiar location that’s ideal for community-wide events such as job fairs.
