U.S. Army Col. Ephraim E. Grubbs, III, the Commander of 60th Troop Command, passes the sword of responsibility to Command Sgt. Maj. Kevin Whitaker, the incoming 60th TC command sergeant major during the change of responsibility ceremony at the Claude T. Bowers Military Center in Raleigh, North Carolina, April 12, 2015. The ceremony signifies the relinquishing of the command authority from the outgoing senior noncommissioned officer to the incoming senior NCO as well as reminds the soldiers of the unit that the senior NCO is responsible for the good order and discipline of the troops.
