An AV-8B Harrier with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 161 (Reinforced) departs the USS Essex (LHD 2) during Certification Exercise (CERTEX) April 13, 2015. The MEU’s Harriers executed a long-range strike from off the coast of San Diego to training ranges near Hill Air Force Base, Utah.
