A French Foreign Legionnaire inspects U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Andrew Reisenweber's gear before a flight at a French Base in Djibouti. Reisenweber, commander of the 82nd Expeditionary Rescue Squadron, jumped with other Guardian Angels from the 82nd, from a French C-160 Transall, using French parachutes, twice the same day. The Guardian Angels from the 82nd trained with Legionnaires to promote interoperability between the two militaries.
