    III Marine Expeditionary Force   

    U.S. Marines and Sailors move essential utility and motor transportation equipment from ship to shore at Alava Pier in the Philippines, April 9. U.S. Navy Lt. Ryan Doyle said they moved 120 pieces of equipment from the U.S. Naval Ship Sacagawea to shore in three days, blowing all expectations out of the water. The equipment offloaded will be used during exercise Balikatan 2015, an annual Philippines and U.S. bilateral training exercise to enhance readiness and military-to-military relations, territorial defense, humanitarian assistance and disaster response operations.
