GREAT LAKES, Ill., (April 7, 2015) – Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy (MCPON) Mike D. Stevens, the Navy’s top enlisted Sailor, congratulates Seaman Recruit Shengjie Zhang, 24, from San Francisco, for being one of the first recruits to receive an electronic tablet (e-tablet) during the launch of an eSailor initiative at Recruit Training Command (RTC) here, April 7. Forty new recruits received e-tablets as part of a pre-pilot beta test to help determine how well the devices will integrate into the training environment at RTC.
