PERSIAN GULF (April 21, 2006) - During wet well operations, Landing Craft Air Cushion Seven Two (LCAC 72) assigned to Assault Craft Unit Five (ACU 5) steers into the well deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Peleliu (LHA-5). The Peleliu and Expeditionary Strike Group Three (ESG 3) are currently on deployment in support of the global war on terrorism and maritime security operations.
