U.S. Marine Corps 1st Lt. Martin Meehan, a training officer assigned to Marine Wing Support Squadron 273, Marine Aircraft Group 31, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, measures the soil subsurface of the airfield with a dynamic cone penetrometer while attending the Weapons and Tactics Instructor (WTI) Course at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Ariz., March 31, 2015.
