A paratrooper lands safely in the drop zone March 26, 2015, as the tangible evidence of a pathfinder's job well done. In addition to serving as subject matter experts on sling load operations with Army rotary aircraft, pathfinders also calculate drop zones for paratroopers to ensure they arrive healthy and ready to accomplish their mission. This jump was a training exercise to provide airborne troops the experience they need to accomplish their airborne mission in a combat environment.
