150330-N-OK605-057 YOKOHMA, Japan (March 30, 2015) - Personnel Specialist 1st Class Alfred Dateng, attached to Commander, U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19), says farewell to five Filipino fisherman turned over to representatives from the Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines at the Yokohama North Dock. Blue Ridge rendered assistance to a fishing vessel suffering mechanical difficulties in the Philippine Sea March 25, rescuing the Filipino nationals who were adrift for three days with no food.
