150328-N-VO234-023 SOUTH CHINA SEA (March 28, 2015) Engineman 2nd Class Candice Edel, assigned to LCS Crew 103, currently embarked aboard the littoral combat ship USS Fort Worth (LCS 3), refuels an MH-60R helicopter from Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 35. Currently on a 16-month rotational deployment in support of the Indo-Asia-Pacific Rebalance, Fort Worth is a fast and agile warship tailor-made to patrol the region’s littorals and work hull-to-hull with partner navies, providing 7th Fleet with the flexible capabilities it needs now and in the future.
