Marines assigned to the 24th Marine Regiment and soldiers from the 9th Royal Malay Regiment conduct physical training aboard the amphibious dock landing ship USS Harpers Ferry during a Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training Malaysia 2009 exercise. CARAT is a series of bilateral exercises held annually in Southeast Asia to strengthen relationships and enhance the operational readiness of the participating forces.
