Lt. Gen. Joseph Anderson addresses the Soldiers of the XVIII Airborne Corps in the pre-dawn light, March 26, at Fort Bragg, N.C., prior to his final Corps level run as their commander. Anderson, who will transition out of command later this spring, assumed command of the XVIII Airborne Corps in July 2013. As commander he led the Corps to Afghanistan to serve as the International Security Assistance Force Joint Command headquarters, closing the unit at the conclusion of NATO’s combat mission in December 2014.
