Spc. Benjamin J. Watson, 49th Public Affairs Detachment (Airborne), holds up a pair of his airborne wings remembering the night jump that caused multiple fractures in his spine. It was that jump that led Watson and his family to stay at the Fort Bragg Fisher House. The Fisher House is a place for Soldiers who have been injured in an accident at Fort Bragg, N.C., or a tragedy from the war, to come and recover, said Paula Gallero, the Fort Bragg Fisher House Manager.
