Marines and Sailors from the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit and USS Bataan (LHD 5) move a pallet of drinks during a "Steel Beach" picnic on Bataan's flight deck, June 26. Marines and Sailors from the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit and Bataan came together for a day of food, fun and games to build comradery during a scheduled deployment. The MEU, embarked aboard the ships of the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group, is currently serving as the theater reserve force for U.S. Central Command.
