U.S. Army Sgt. Colin Vertress of Headquarters and Headquarters Company, Joint Multinational Readiness Center (JMRC), performs a sit up while conducting a physical fitness test during the JMRC Best Warrior Competition at the JMRC in Hohenfels, Germany, March 17, 2015. Noncommissioned officers and lower enlisted Soldiers participated in the three-day competition during which their skills were tested in multiple areas including physical fitness, land navigation, marksmanship, and military knowledge. The top performing noncommissioned officer and lower enlisted Soldier will be named the JMRC Noncommissioned Officer of the Quarter and Soldier of the Quarter and each will go on to participate in the JMRC Noncommissioned Officer/Soldier of the Year Competition.
