U.S. Marine Corps Capt. Adrian R. Evangelista flies a MV-22B Osprey during a "proof of concept" flight from Sasebo, Japan, March 23, 2015. Two Ospreys landed at United States Fleet Activity Sasebo, Japan, for the first time in the aircraft's history during the"proof of concept" flight. The flight demonstrated the operational reach of the aircraft. Future use of the landing zone at Sasebo will reduce the logistics chain while increasing readiness and crises response time for the U.S. Marine Corps. Evangelista and the aircraft is with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 262 (Reinforced), 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Staff Sgt, Joseph DiGirolamo/released)
