U.S. Marine Corps pilots walk out of a MV-22B Ospreys that landed at United States Fleet Activity Sasebo, Japan, for the first time in the aircraft's history during a "proof of concept" flight March 23, 2015. The flight demonstrated the operational reach of the aircraft. Future use of the landing zone at Sasebo will reduce the logistics chain while increasing readiness and crises response time for the U.S. Marine Corps.
