A Special Forces members from Gulf Cooperation Council nation attempt to hook a boarding ladder onto U.S. Army vessel “Corinth” during visit, board, search and seizure training in the Arabian Gulf during Exercise Eagle Resolve March 17, 2015. Teams of international military and civil partners from the U.S. and Gulf Cooperation Council nations practiced boarding and searching procedures to develop tactics used to investigate suspicious vessels in search of smuggled drugs, weapons or any other items that might be used in a terrorist threat or action. Exercise Eagle Resolve 2015 affords 29 partner nations the opportunity to train together to address the regional challenges associated with asymmetric/unconventional warfare in a multi-national environment. This is the Government of Kuwait’s first time hosting Eagle Resolve, which is the premiere Arabian Peninsula/Gulf Region exercise between the United States, Gulf Cooperation Council nations, and other international partners.
