The 145th Security Forces Squadron is responsible for force protection through integrated defense and law enforcement which will provide security of military resources and personnel. Each SFS member carries a non-lethal level of force to provide the appropriate level of force for each situation. To ensure each member is proficient in asp baton the training is an annual requirement, where they demonstrate the ability to keep the assailant under control, use verbal commands, deliver non-lethal force, and maintain positive control of the asp baton, North Carolina Air National Guard Base, Charlotte Douglas Intl.
