Spc. Jennifer Mercer of 30th Heavy Brigade Combat Team presses 335 pounds during a competition at the Forward Operating Base Falcon gymnasium, June 22. The Faison, N.C., native trained in body building for seven years. Mercer broke female records in the gymnasium?s Iron Man competition June 7, by bench pressing 135 pounds, completing squats with 250 pounds and lifting 225 pounds deadweight. Her photo will be added to the gymnasium's wall of fame.
