After being sprayed in the face with oleoresin capsicum, U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Joseph Vargas, 144th Logistics Readiness Squadron, must identify how many fingers U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. David Saldivar, 144th Security Forces Squadron, is holding up before moving to the rinse station. Vargas is a potential security forces augmentee and must be sprayed with the active agent, according to Air Force instruction, prior to carrying the less than lethal means of defense.
