The color guard, with the Marine detachment with Special-Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force-Boston aboard the USS Arlington, awaits the command to step off as the Boston Saint Patrick’s Day parade begins March 15, 2015. During the Saint Patrick’s Day weekend, the detachment also participated in the ceremonial manning of the rails while pulling into port, public tours aboard the USS Arlington and in volunteer roles in the Greater Boston area.
